Fleuramour is a world-renowned flower event in Belgium. For four days, 200 floral artists from 20 countries will transform the castle grounds of Alden Biesen into a fairytale world packed with stunning floral designs.

In the castle, the church and the gardens you will come across the most beautiful floral creations, from very large to small. Thousands of flowers will be processed in hundreds of unique designs.

In addition to the floral tour there will be a pop-up market with all kinds of products, floral workshops and demonstrations, floral fashion shows, food stands and beverage establishments.

Fleuramour 2023 is all about music !

With “Flowers & Music,” the organization resolutely draws the card of a diverse and young audience, because who doesn’t love music? From David Guetta to Harry Styles and from Mozart over The Beatles to Miley Cyrus. Everyone loves music.

Whether we can expect floral designs inspired by Tomorrowland or the Eurovision Song Contest, a musical world tour, or floral representations of popular hits, singers or composers, that remains a closely guarded secret. What is certain is that this 26th edition will guarantee a dreamy day trip full of floral beauty, fantasy and music.

You can easily spend a full day at Fleuramour. Some even make a weekend of it. Moreover, the Grand Commandery is surrounded by historical garden parks and unique standard orchards. By car:
Highway E313 Hasselt – Luik (Liège in French), exit 31 Bilzen – Follow the road signs ‘Alden Biesen’. You can park before the castle in a parking lot.

By train:
Leave the train in the railway station of Bilzen. Please check the website of Belgian Train to calculate your trip. There is a shuttle service between the train station of Bilzen and Fleuramour (subject to change).

Tip: you can also take the ‘on-call bus’ from the train station to Fleuramour and back. This bus has to be booked in advance by calling +32 (0)11 85 03 00 or via the website of the bus.

By plane:
The nearest airports are Maastricht (20 km), Liège (35 km), Brussels Airport/Zaventem (95 km) and Charleroi/Brussels South (110 km).

Yes, there are all kinds of food and beverage outlets with hot and cold food on the event grounds.

Fleuramour will be happy to welcome you and is wheelchair accessible at most places.

Although due to the old stairs, wheelchair users and parents with a pram unfortunately cannot access the French garden and the upper floor (+2) of the castle. However, there is a lift to the underground floor (-1) and to the first floor (+1) of the castle. You will also have acces to the ground floor (0) of the castle. The long avenue to the castle has also been redesigned for better (driving) comfort.

Wheelchair users get free access to Fleuramour. They must report to the cash desk upon arrival. A special entrance is provided.

No, dogs and other pets are not allowed on the grounds of the Alden Biesen Commandery. Thank you for your understanding.

Yes, there are several accommodation options near the event.

Housed in a 13th-century building, Hotel Martin’s Rentmeesterij is within walking distance of the Grand Commandery Alden Biesen in Bilzen.

You can also stay at Holiday Inn hotels. In these hotels, you can buy your tickets for Fleuramour at an extra discount in combination with a stay in the hotel.
